"My Greatest Ambition": Empathy task

(MORRIS' MOTHER)

I can't believe my son has just published his own comic strip. I'm very proud of him, he had worked very hard on this, he realy deserved it. When he started with all this stuff, I never thought that he would get it. Every time I saw him writing his amazing comic strip, I asked him, what is he planning to do with his life, and told him to study. I had never took this career seriously. I'm so sorry about it, I wish I had helped him a little more with this.
One month ago a telegram for Morris arrived. It said that his appointment was on thursday 8th at 10 o'clock, and instead of going to school he went alone to Boys Magazine. But if something had happened to him, my poor boy was alone in the big city, he could have got lost , or somebody could have still him. I can't believe it! I should have gone with him!
Well..., he had worked hard for it, and I didn't helped him as much as I could have helped him, I would tell him that I'm very sorry and to forgive me. Dispite it, I'm very happy. I've already told this o everyone I know, and I obliged them to buy it. I hope they accepted his second comic strip! I wish the best to him.

  1. Great work! Your piece is very well written and you have explored this mother´s feelings in a very developed way.
